tftmc (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Well let me fix that, it's only about 2.8 quintillion wide from one end to the other that we can see. on the other axis it is also 2.8 quintillion. I don't think my calculator will allow the digits to show many number of cubic "suns" could fit in the known universe. But space is not cubic, but for the sake of argument let's say that it fits a SHITLOAD of suns, lol. Sorry for all the reading material, but it's hard to explain the universe.
tftmc (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Not to mention most of space (95%) is composed of "dark matter" which is basically, nothing. Or so physicists have not figured it out yet. So only 5% of the known universe, which is 30 Trillion lightyears in size, that's 2,880,000,000,000,000,000 or 2.8 quintillion of our Suns if stretched from end to end to end to end, and that's only what we can possibly see in a "straight line", the rest is past the "horizon" if you will. So, think about it, 5 years is no where near enough time.
tftmc (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
5 years? Considering the Cosmos contains 100 trillion Stars that can be millions of times the size of our Sun, Galaxies from 1 to 50 lighyears in diameter, spacing tens and hundreds of thousands of light years apart, 5 years isn't that much time. There's a LOT of shit out there, more than most can even comprehend let alone map.Not considering possible classified information the US Gov't may have, since the beginning of Civilization man has looked into the skies, and nothing solid yet.
AtlantisRising1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
what i hate, when i think about it is this technology that is being hidden from us. certain countries, groups or whatever have this technology we see here. sucks that its kept a secret.
