the first few minites of flight sounds cool but they are only going about 1,000 M.P.H till the throttle up call.thats when they start hualen ass reaching up to 19,000 M.P.H then you see the shuttle break off the fuel tank and goes on orbit on its own..fucking sweet huh?

they do that to scare away stray cats, which could do damage by scratching the shuttle or rockets before takeoff.
